I purchased his so called "brand new, never used" koni's. They were supposed to be brand new never used and 100% complete. Well they arrived today and this is what I receive. He told me today that ONE was installed. I have reported him to paypal, as these were obviously used, damaged, and not 100% complete. All the hardware is missing. Although they were a good price, I dont know the true story behind these and he is a liar and a bad seller.

Maybe he mounted them and just never actually "used" them. They just look too clean to be used to me.

No that is what you told me TODAY after I asked you wtf was wrong with it. You never said in the original pm that they were mounted. Here let me show you what YOU said.

so im thinking, the one with the bent ring was mounted, and they were both just handled improperly. You say you got a good deal on them, and im just saying, you probably still got a good deal...they will for sure still work the same.

They may, they may not. I dont know if it was ever driven on, how many miles (if any) are on it. Now I guess I need to call Koni and order the perch ring, and all the hardware that was supposed to come with this. Deal or no deal, the point is that what I got was not what was portrayed, PERIOD. The fact that he is being uncooperative makes the situation even shadier and more of a pain in the ***. The seller even went as far as telling me, I did the damage. Thats pretty impressive of me if I can get shocks in the mail at 2:10 (delivered to my door) TODAY. I put them on, beat em all up, took them back off, took pics of the damage and pmd him at 2:26 asking him wtf happened to the so called "brand new never used" shocks.

and if they will still work the same as jdmsol states then kelviiv will not have a problem reselling them .

How and why would I bend a perch ring? Are you kidding. YOU SAID IT WAS INSTALLED. Therefore YOU BENT IT NOT ME.

you could've done many things with them, just telling me you received it today wouldn't help, i can switch out struts/shocks in an hour/two.

I DONT THINK ITS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL SHOCKS IN 16 MINUTES

I highly doubt he could install two shocks in 16 minutes let alone bend a perch ring.Just refund him the cash and be done with it.

 

Id do the same thing the buyer did and escalate it to a claim. Clearly the seller is a scumbag liar. never used but installed?

Looks like they were installed to see if they fit but never driven on.


BTW: How can you complain? You got them for $160. That's one hell of a deal to me.

 

Just cuz somethings were unclear between the both of you it doesn't mean he's a bad seller. You should have asked for up to date pics of the stuff you were buying and approved before you agreed to buy them. Don't get me wrong, there is a code of honesty that not everyone on here follows(I've been screwed over myself), but there's also some sense of responsibility on your behalf for not being more thorough, it goes both ways. We need to see some before shipping pics....
