Default 14" or 15" ???

Ok since 14 and 15's don't sound much of a difference. Do you guys prefer 14 stock steelies or some 15's light weight rims for auto x and why??

what class are you running? For STS, i'd go with the 15" just for the sake of tire availability. If you are in stock class you are required to keep the same size wheel, unless of course your car could have been equipped (at the factory) with a 15" wheel as an option. But then again, for stock class, r-tires come in a better selection of tires in 13" and 14" sizes.

Tires are significantly cheaper in the 14" size.

It all depends on what class you are in and if that class allows DOT racing tires. You can probably get a lower side wall height with the 15's though, that migh make the 15's more applealing. Consider this...205/50/15 Falken Azenis only cost $63!!

14" rims will give you better acceleration which is always better for autocrossing but there are many more tire options when it comes to 15" rims, so I would go with 15". (13" rims are a whole nother story).

15 inch lightweight.

Better looking if you are a weekend racer/daily driver like me.

Wider rim, wider tire.

Lighter too, My 15x7's are lighter than the 14x5 stock steelies.
