Engine bay cleanup???????
Im trying to find a way to pretty up my engine bay. i have a stock 97 dx so theres already no a/c and powersteering. i removed the windshield washer resevoir and tubing.
i know people do wire tucks and make it look amazing that way but i have no idea how to do that...and it looks extremely hard.
is there anything you fellas reccomend? is there like rubber plugs i can get for all the holes? or any easy relocation of items in the bay? i would love to get it painted but i dont have the money for that.

Advance Auto makes a really good engine cleaner, Probably the only good thing they make. Anyway.
I ussaly unhook my batter, cover the battery / dist. altenator/air filter. Set your hose on the mist setting and go to town.

Theres some writeups on the net that tell you how to relocate the battery to the trunk and relocate the fuse box to the glovebox which are very easy to do. Since you already don't have ac ps or cc in there youd be looking pretty clean after that. I would recommend giving it a good cleaning like if Iexplode said also.
ill 3rd cleaning the bay. Some simple green should do the job.
Just make sure to be very careful. Do the usuall, cover alternator, distributor, fusebox....ect. Also check plugs afterwards. I got water in my moms cr-v plugs and it was bogging out real bad. Thought we needed to rebuild head
cause of multiple cylinder misfire. However a little water leaked in, dried it out and was good as new.
Good luck
