Got most of the harness transfer from the HF to the ZC done but there seem to be an extra 3 prong sensor on the top of the throtle body that there is not a connector for on my HF harness. On the ZC harness there was a connector for this. Do I leave this unhooked?

I think you're talking about the cold air something or other on the back of the manifold. I think it is a 2 pin connector that goes to nothing on the ZC.

 

I don't have an extre plug on the harness except for the EGR thing. I do, however, have a extra sensor on top of the throtle body that came on the ZC that in NOT plugged in because there is no pleg on my HF harness for it.

I'll post a pic when I can...and when I find out how.

As we figured out in the post about your distributor, you have an obd1 ZC I dont know what that sensor is though....

 

Sure sounds like MAP to me, but I'm not 100% sure.

 

You don't need that. When I did my swap that extra plug did not have a mate on the Zc so I just left it off. My car runs fine and even passes the smog test. I would not worry about it. I could post a pic, but if someone explains how, I will.

when u do a zc swap mine is right near my distirbutor.its a lil green plug that dosent plug into **** and it runs fine. but i also think thats why my check engine light comes on! lol

 

Is that the EGR plug?

looks like the fast idle control that attaches to your intake manifold. Mines dangling, no probs yet.

 

That was the one I was talking about. I thought it was called the cold idle control, but "fast idle control " sounds correct to me.

 

I thought it was the purge, and the HF harness has 2 extra plugs on it, one is an egr plug I think...
