Default JDM EK TYPE R MOTOR USDM CONVERSION

i just bought a JDM ek type r engine with every thing. the engine seems to look fine and my friend check it he said its good to go. but i some of the sensors on the jdm harness are different from the usdm one. i compare the usdm si harness with the jdm type r harness. and i was wondering does the aftermarket usdm si intake manifold and the headers fit on the jdm type r motor? because im planing to used the si harness for the conversion. and i need all the senors to plug so i can pass smog and dont have to convert back and froth. i live in cali so there alot of crap going around with JDM motors. and sum dude told me to add a second cat converter. i was wondering do i have to to that. please help me out. i really want to do the swap asap. thankz

p.s. will i have a coupe so dont ask me why i bought the ek type r, that i coulda get a stronger integra type r. i just wanna keep the civic in my civic.

Why would you want to swap out the B16B IM for an aftermarket one? But to answer your question, it would fit because they're the same heads. Header will fit too, but make sure you buy one for a 1.8 block because the B16B deck height is higher than the B16A. It will be hard to get this motor barred and you would need to swap a lot of things.

From my experance with jdm motors, you will have to add the knock sensor and the cfk sensor, swap over the evap purge control solonied thats on the fuel rail and all else should be good. You need either a jdm ctr header or a aftermart b18 header. ( I have both for sale. ) If I remember correctly the only diffrence is the air intake temp sensor. The rest of the us si harness should work.

well i dont have a si motor. the motor in my car now is a d16y8. so do i need a knock (sensor and the cfk sensor, swap over the evap purge control solonied) from a b16a inorder for it to work? and the aie intake sensor all i need is to switch it over right?
