I have the Password JDM dry carbon whale ***** intake on my EJ8 with d16y8. I'm wanting to go ahead and order the Password JDM 3 point front strut bar also. I think they would look great paired together but I have never seen this done and I'm just wondering if the strut and intake could both fit on at the same time since the intake is so big around and doesnt have much clearance up top. Anybody with experience or knowledge on this please let me know. Thanks.

Yea I was goin to just e-mail them or call if I couldnt find out from here. I have searched and didnt find anything on it. If no1 here knows I will go to them.

 

I just emailed them. Waiting for response.

 

Finally got their response. It will not work because of how high the throttle body on the y8 motor sits. The intake barely leaves room for the hood to close much less the 3 point strut bar. DAMN!

I'm going to e-mail them again and see if you can use a strut bar period with the intake. I'm going to be quite pissed if I can't. I want to either order the PWJDM 2 point strut bar from them if it fits or just go back to my OEM Si strut tower bar and paint it VSM to match my car.
