Funny sound from the rear??
I have a 5th Generation and recently I have been hearing a funny sound from the back end on the right side. Could it be my wheel bearings? There is also a squeaking sound when I reverse than drive. Im thinkin its either my bearings or breaks.. But the squeaking sound usually goes away after a block or so.

Will do. I think its my brakes now too! At least I hope so! Will let you guys know once I check. Just bought the car too so hopefully thats all it is!
keep us updated! I just bought my 5th gen too & have this exact sound your talking about. Mines more of a clunk though & only happens on the rear passenger side, goin in reverse only
usually a wheel bearing will make a rhythmic whirling sound at certain speeds. although a whirling sound can also be a present if the brakes wear the rotors unevenly.

Your thread tile made me LOL
As for the problem with your CAR lol, after you drive for extended periods of time, get out and put your hand on the wheel that is making noise. See if it is abnormally hot.

well.. i changed the front bakes and it got rid of the squealing in the front.. but now it seems like it kind of vibrates from the front at times.. (usually when i start to accelerate) can it be my rotors? i inspected the back brakes and they need changing too.. but i think the sound from the rear is the shocks.. because when i lifted the front end to do the brakes it started to make that sound.. also, when i changed the front brakes noticed the left tie rod was ripped by the joint.. can that be whats makin the noise when i reverse and then put it into drive? it makes a loud noise like somethin is about to break when i put it into drive after i reverse.. or can it be because one of the studs is broke off of the hub?
ur best best bet is take it to a certified honda dealer..and tell them your problem they will have trained specialist who can help you solve your problems instead of askin all these ????
i wish it was that easy. i can fix just about anything anyways. as long as i know whats wrong with. i dont trust no shops or dealerships. they have all tried to scam one too many times cause i was lazy not to fix it myself. to them, one problem is thirty others to fix.
