Stock coil-overs
i have an 08 4D civic and i just bought new wheels that sit out farther than the stock wheels. When i go over a speedbump/shitty road the body comes down on the tire. Is there any way i can adjust the dampening on the stock coil-overs? or do i have to buy an after market pair?
what size tires and what offset rims do you have? maybe i can try to figure out what you can change to stop the rubbing. as far as "stock coilover" there is no such thing. the new civics have a mcpherson strut and coil spring suspension. there are no adjustments to be made on either strut or spring.

225x45x17 on stock height should be fine.
it sounds more like you went too aggressive (lower offset) than what your car is setup to be. offset?

I rescind previous statement. I was thinking about something else.

Either trade your wheels to someone or look up a machine shop that can shave the mounting service of the wheels. If you want to explore the machining option I am located in Gilbert I can help you out, give me a call on Tuesday.
