So latley when i start my hatch (88 civic with an LS MPFI swap) it takes a lot to start it and i have to press the gass a lil. Then i'll be driving and it'll idle fine then idle down to about 6or700 RPM's and then the check engine light will come on. Once the cel comes on it'll idle at 1100 until i shut off the car. When i start it again the cel won't come on until i let it sit over night. But then recently its a lil B***h to start and ill have press the gas almost more than half way and then the cel will come on. But when im driving it itll be fine until i hit 3grand or 3500 and itll bog hard core and it'll hit the rev limiter and i wont gain any speed.
Me and my buds think its the ecu but im not sure. and im not able to locate any ecu's at the this time. So if you have any info please let me know. Thanx much

 

Make sure your injector clips are on good.

 

What code is it throwing? And Im pretty sure you have the extra plug you dont use plugged in or 2 plugs are swapped around.

 

i dno about a code. the cel is just on right when i start the car.

 

There should be 1 left over plug from when you did the swap switch it out with the iac I believe?
