You can buy two flanges an 90 degree from JC and get it welded. Not that hard. Or you can cut a hole in your hood, lol.

you can get a brass fitting thats shorter in height, works like a charm. I've done this before.

On my manual boost controller I just use the side port.

i have same problem on my b16 crx with drag3. i drill and tap a fitting on the side of the wastegate and put a flush screw on top to cap it. works great.

well I dont even use the top nipple on my racegate, I use the side like I did with my old hks, like the directions for most, I am not sure if all, manual boost controllers recomend, only ellectronic boost controllers, like avcr, need top port on wastegate. If I am wrong I am sure all of you will slam me, but on manual boost controllers, I never use the top port, Jason

noticed that your vacuum lines for your wastegate are routed between the radiator and front bumper. where does it lead to? i'm asking this because i thought all vaccum lines were supposed to tee into the line before the fpr but this seems like its too much to be tapping everything on this this single source. thanx

On frank's car (dragngsr) The turbo port goes to the side port on the wastegate, a T is inline to go out to the in on the boost solenoid (the black box). And the top port is connected to the out on the black box. He's running the new blitz boost controller with id meter. Paul
