new tires, what a change
So the stock tires on my 07 zx10r FINALLY wore out - i got 3300 miles on them before the rears were bald. Fronts had about 30% left. The stockers were OEM Dunlop Qualifiers not to be confused with non-OEM Dunlop Qualifiers which i hear are worlds better.
I replace them with Pilot Power 2CTs and oh wow what a difference! Any corner, any speed, zero effort on the bar and it just tracks, so much grip. The one thing i hated about the 10 vs my 636 was the the tires (i have 2CTs on the 636) and now i just have no reason to ride the 636.
The only downside is replacing tires with every oil change...gonna be a little spendy!

Doing a lot of burnouts I see
I still have plenty of tread left on my stock Dunlops, with 7000 miles on them.
Maybe I should start smokin them so I have an excuse to get some Pilot Powers

Me thinks you've never ridden on pirellis. Also I sure hope you got a 190/55 and not a 190/50. The lower profile tire SUCKS and has terrible turn in. You really need the 55 and it makes a world of difference.

Yeah i got a 190/55 for the rear, thats what comes stock on my bike anyway. And no, ive never owned a Pirelli - i was just being funny.
I'm sure they are great tires. Just like im sure the non OEM Dunlop Qualifiers are great.
I'm still a happy Michelin customer though.
