Default My Konis/Ground Controls are seized when I try to take them apart, halp

I got these Konis/Ground Controls assembled off craigslist awhile ago and I want to take them apart to send the Konis get rebuilt into the SPSS3 valving.

I took one the rears apart, separated the Ground Control sleeve from the shock.

Then I try to take the other rear apart and having trouble. I removed the shock mount with out trouble and then tried to take off the sleeve off the shock and it is stuck. I can't force it up off the shock unless I am that weak. And also I tried loosening the spring seat to move it up but that is stuck too.

I'm not sure what to do. Maybe use some penetrating lube or just get charged extra for whoever revalves them to remove it for me.

When I first installed my GC's, I wrapped a single layer of electrical tape around the shock body to keep the sleeve from turning when adjusting the collars on the car. It was a good idea while they were on the car, but I had a hell of a time getting them off when I sold the GC's.

I think I ended up using one of my dad's rubber strap wrenches to help turn the sleeves on the shock body and eventually work them up off of that electrical tape.

LMAO i did the exact same thing just that i put such a thick layer that i had to use a rubber mallet to get them in all the way

Now my front shocks have to be coilovers for life cause those sleeves aint going nowhere
