Default Hondata s300 help

Hey guys, So i have the s300 system in my civic and i had it tuned awhile ago, everything is great but the tuner set a launch control and i would like to turn it off. I don't know much about tuning so i really don't want to get in there and dick things up, but they say its fairly simple to do. I have the software and have been successful at connecting it to the ECU for logging, but how can i update the launch control preferences without updating/messing up the map?

Contact the tuner so he can walk you through uploading a calibration with the launch control disabled.

Click on Smanager icon on your laptop, with the P.C connected to the ECU turn key forward to get a connection, download from ECU by clickong on the ONLINE TAB, click download, click parameters, click launch control, and where it says LAUNCH CONTROL ACTIVATION click on that and click disable.

It is NOT a good idea to DOWNLOAD from the S300 system & re-upload the same file. Use this as a last resort as the calibration may not be exactly the same as the original calibration.

Agree'd but if it's set in closed loop, and he only wants to turn off a function and keep it as is, I dont see an issue but last resort if he does not have the file on hand. I had to do it once in an emergency. But still all was well.
