you could get the eg6 SiR with the automatic tranny option. i have no idea why someone would want one unless you are missing a foot. so with that said there isint too many of them.

I am asking because a friend of mine is about to buy a USDM Si here in Canada, but it is in Automatic. Now she is a girl and knows nuthing about cars or Honda models, and the seller isnt even sure how many horsepower it is. I am just trying to distinquish which model it really is.

well, in canada - Si = USDM EX, SiR = USDM Si (as far as '96+ civics go anyways)
so yea, the canadian Si (USDM EX) came in 4sp auto and 5sp stick, it also has the 127hp sohc vtec engine. hth

In Japan, SiRII's were offered in auto -- SiR is ONLY in manual...

I'm pretty sure no USDM/CDM B16A is in auto...

four door coupe???? I thought the word "coupe" meant "2 door." So a "4 door coupe" would have 8 doors if I'm not mistaken. j/k

Correct me if im wrong but, I belieive the JDM EK 4dr Ferio came in auto w/a B16.
Had a lotta cool **** too, navigation, cool seats, Si wheels, RS emblem, stuff like that. Saw it in a Hyper REV mag awhile back.

You're mistaken. EX's are called Si's in Canada. Si's are called SiR's in Canada.

B series automatics are natural. The Integra LS's have automatics, I would deduce that they would exist in other markets if they didn't occur in the US.

No B series VTEC engine that I'm aware of has appeared in the U.S. with an automatic tranny that I know of. I believe that there are several variations from other countries with automatics mated to B16's (in VTEC trim), but I don't know about any B18's or B20's
