Default Fuel Fitler relocation.

On this guy white crx with sohc and itbs. He stated that he put the fuel filter under where the gas tank is and used his oem line to his fuel rail. how do i go around doing the same thing? I'm not sure what line i hook for the filter under there.

here a pic of the somebody's crx with the oem line connected to the rail and firewall. This is the look I'm trying to go for.

wondering how did he manage to install a filter under the car near the tank.

probably an inline filter like i've seen on gm cars. all you would need are maybe a flaring tool and some fittings. i think some filters even come with the bracket mount. if your auto parts store has fuel filters in the aisle, have a look

you could just run any fuel safe braided line, or just really any fuel safe line. whats the point in putting the filter there? i have an 8gal. fuel cell in the back of my crx and im running a filter at the inline pump, and going to put another before the fuel rail... think about it, would you rather filter it right where it comes from your tank (which has to come all the way through the line which might pick up some **** and send it through your motor...) or just keep it where honda meant, andr cut the lines at the filter, clamp an inline filter...or redo the lines there w/ braided lines, an fittings and a good filter, and tuck it away.

IM CONFUSED...

Its very simple and everyone already touched base on this. You just need to either move the oem filter somewhere (whereever you want) and just extend those lines to where they need to go. Easiest way is to run an inline filter. If you cannot figure out what lines or even where to start you probly shouldn't even be attempting this. It is very simple. Figure out where you want the filter, run braided fuel lines with the correct fittings to match up to what your connecting it to and there you go.

looks like he just used the stock like that was coming through the firewall straight to the fuel rail instead of firewall to filter then fuel rail.
