Default A/C compressor clutch swap

Are there any DIY articles on changing the compressor clutch? I have an 01 Prelude and from the little info I've found it's seems to be a task. Will I have to recharge after changing the clutch? Would it be easier to change the entire compressor?

Thanks in advance.

You'll be a lot better off just replacing the compressor with a used one. To change that thing, you need a few specialty tools.

Okay. But for the record, since there aren't any real explanations out there, what's the issue with changing just the clutch?

I would also recommend going with a new oem compressor too. The one I priced at the dealer was pretty steep but if it will last for 15+ years it is worth it.
