Default 2000 Honda Civic

I have a 2000 Honda Civic and my check engine light came on. I took it to the Honda dealership and they told me that my oxygen sensor was bad and that I had a crack in my manifold(?). Well luckily my dad could fix it hiself cause honda was trying to charge me $1500. But the problem is that the light is still on we took it to the honda dealership so could turn the light off, but the light came back on...what else could the problem be? Cause I am clueless about car....

well did you replace the manifold/weld it and the 02 sensor?? or just the manifold? honda obviously re-flashed the ecu so there has to be something wrong with the sensor itself

which o2 sensor.
if you replaced the secondary sensor and the light came on again then you will need a catalytic converter. dealerships are there to ripoff people. dont trust anything they tell you they are just trying to make money. take it to another place.
get you engine light check for free at auto parts like Autozone, others

I'm not sure which o2 sensor my father replaced....I think both but I could be wrong. So if I need this catalyst about how much does that cost?

OEM Cat = like $600 to 900 depending where you get it.

Aftermarket cat = ~ $150

What code are you getting btw?
