Electrical or Mechanical....???
Woke up this morning, started my car and drove it to get my haircut, no longer than 30 minutes after I go to leave and it won't start. Starter clicks like a dead battery so I push start it and drove it home. On the way home every time I come to a stop or push on the gas pedal it bucks like I'm popping the clutch. I've checked all the cables and voltage with nothing out of the ordinary. any ideas out there?

Update: Went outside tried to start the car again and this time I saw a little smoke, popped the hood and noticed my Inline Four clutch line was melted and smoking. The only conclusion I came up with is one of the cables was resting on the clutch line and was causing it to get hot. Checked the cables out and found no sign of melting or breakage. Could this be possible???
Check your grounds, specifically the one that goes from the tranny to the frame, I assume that the clutch line is stainless steel, and was turned into a ground, and over heated. when you tried to start it.
