i think my cv axle is messed up becuase my car shakes in the front, anyone have any ideas?

does ur steering wheel shake? cuz u mite juss need alignment.

your tires might need to be rebalanced and rotated

Alignment is extra but if your car pulls to the sides its a must!

 

Yeah, a CV is gone when a) the boot is cracked or torn and grease is leaking or b) you hear some nice clunk/clicking noise under acceleration with the wheel turned. Wheel vibration or steering vibration is something else. My 94 Accord was pretty out of alignment, had a nice wobble and vibration on the highway and when braking. After I had it done ($50 at a local tire shop) it was perfect. Loose or un-consistent lug nut tension will also cause this as well as the wheel balance as mentioned before.
