Questions about getting a SRI for my 1999 Civic
I've heard good and bad things about installing a SRI in your car. The good being that it increases horse-power as well as the mpg of your car. The reverse to that is it's a big waste of money and doesn't do anything but make your car sound cool.
I just wanted to get some opinions from people who have done this or who currently have one. What did you notice and was it significant enough to be worth the cost. I know K&N also makes a filter that works with your stock intake for much cheaper. Is that a better choice? Thanks in advance for those who post.

keep the stocker. I've had sri in the past and honestly you lose bottom end torque to the point it feels like you're a slug at pickup. it really makes the car a tad bit louder if you floor it. i've yet to see any proof that it improves horsepower and mpg.
Thanks for the info tadashisan. I'll wait to see what others have to say but if I get anything it will probably be one of these. http://www.knfilters.com/filtercharger.htm
