Removing side moldings

A tech at the acura dealership told me that All i need to ddo to remove my moldings is to hold a heat gun to it and peel it off no clips to remove. Is this true? My car is a '95. Thanks in advance

There are 8 clips that hold in the mouldings. You'll see 8 holes in behind once you take off the mouldings.

would like them too but they are black and my car is white......

Have a bodyshop take them off for you and paint them the same color as your car.
Also have them paint the side rocker(also black).

Im gonna have the guys at my work do it........how much do you think it would cost at a reg body shop so I know how much I should give them on the side......
