First of all...try searching but didnt seem to find an exact answer...

Car: 94 Auto Integra RS converted to Manual


Problem: Recently dyno my car and Chipped a AUTO p75 on CROME..... after that day, thats when the problem started....

"EVERYTIME" when im about to start my car and have it on ignition right b4 i even crank up the car..the CEL will appear and stay ON...even after the fuel pump had prime.?car will start but have a bad idle...so what i have to do is turn ignition off and unplug the 3 ECU harness , wait about 5 sec and plug them back......everything seems to be fine afterwards with no CEL...Idle is alot better and car would run alot smoother... i have to constantly repeat this step everytime i start my car...

tried a STOCK p72 ...Problems never occured..NO CEL and No needing to unplug and plug ecu harness...


Well After researching: i have found that the problems could of been a Bad Chip??Burn ECU or Bad ECU harness etc..??

If it was a bad ecu it wouldnt ever run "Normal" correct?? even after i unplug and plug the harness....ECU ran Fine b4 it was even chipped...


at this point not really sure what the real problem is, probably just the ECU itself but what exactly??

any help would be appreciated...thanks...OH and a sorry or the sloppy typing...

 

sounds like an issue with the socketing on the ecu for the chip or maybe a bad chip.. i would start with trying another chip in ur ecu and if not then u probably need an ecu
