Default All Kinds of Problems

So heres the deal I have a 1991 Acura integra with a B18 A1 that ive only had for a few weeks. On my way to work the radiator cap seal blows and all the coolant vaporizes so pull over and fill it with coolant and put a new cap on. Then about 30 minutes later coolant begins dripping at a fast rate from the drivers side of the radiator and all my power seems to be gone (like its only running on 3 cyl). So i replace the radiator and about 40 miles later it begins leaking out of the passengers side so i tighten the bottom line and fill it up and it still leaks!! what gives?

Check your thermostat, spark plugs and wires, and every single little coolant hose that go around the block and intake manifold. There's also a little coolant hose underneath the intake manifold by one of the back motor mounts too. On my Integra, that one was cracked. It was a complete pain and waste of time removing everything in front of it to replace it in my honest opinion.

yeah I cant get one of the spark plug wires off, I imagine its melted together from the overheating. And the coolant seems to running off the radiator could i possibly of blown a hole in it already?

Oh that's just great. Well, now would be a good time to take it somewhere to get a complete diagnostic and look at what has happened. Then, even though it's pricey, replace the parts with parts from the dealership (assuming no block or head damage). Believe me, it will be worth it in the long run. It seemed like my ride was misfiring from idle to 3K RPMs. Turns out my plugs were fouled and I had to replace the distributor cap and rotor, wires, and plugs with OEM parts from the dealer. Whatever you do, DO NOT use Bosch Platinum plugs. Those things were FUBAR'd for life when they got pulled out.

radiator problems are the biggest headaches to me. my old civic kept having the same problem, first itook out the thermostat and it fixed it, a week later it was leaking and i fixd that then another week later it was clogging somewhere.

i replaced all the hoses and left the thermostat out and replaced the cap and fixd my fan and sold the damn thing :].

Yeh, I have to agree, coolant/overheating problems are the biggest pain in the but, they cause the most damage if not dealt with in time, I hope everything turns out ok man, keep us updated. It didn't overheat by chance did it?
