I like Pilot's 8000k H.I.D. Can't go wrong with bluish-white H.I.D.

Light output sucks. Too much glare. Dangerous for on coming traffic. Not meant for cars without projectors. I've had some before and went back to halogen bulbs.

Retrofit FTW!

I voted 3000k. I have them on my EJ8. Light output is great and even with no glare... I have never had oncoming traffic flash their lights at me in the 6 months I've had them. Screw retrofitting.

They are much better in 94+ Integras because of the projector style headlights. And yes I agree, they look fine in those also because they have a decent cutoff line. If you stick pnp hids into a stock civic headlight, there is no cutoff line, therefore the glare and light output is horrible.

If anyone has pics of a good cutoff line of a pnp kit in a civic. I would love to see it.

I had HID's in my del Sol's stock headlights. Silverstars are better than what I had

If you're gonna go HID, go full blast and do a retrofit. Plug n play kits suck.

well what we were saying is if you have factory projector headlights, then a plug and play kit looks just fine. but with civic/del sol headlights, plug and play kits look kind of whack.

This is the only pic of my HID's I could find. Its from like 6 months ago when I first got them. Like you guys said theres not really a cutoff line but I think they look good for a plug and play kit in OEM headlights with no retrofit. What do you guys think?

I vote halogen or retrofit in this situation. 96-00 reflector style housings don't do well to compliment PnP HIDs. 4300K would have been my choice of temp for HIDs anywho.
