Default honda motor builders . . pistons and oil squirters

this is a topic that has come up with some of my local tuners and motor builders, is that some pistons overlap the oil squirters which isnt good, has anyone who built b16 or b18 motors had any issues with ANY pistons at all? i'm looking into buying some and a few recomended arias pistons because they clear the oil squirters and one guy bought cp pistons and had to modify his oil quirters cuz their pistons over lapped them, has anyone else had ANY problems with cartain pistons? thanks

need to know cuz motor is going to get built in a few weeks

quote from tuner on my local forums:
Yep, the bottom of the piston slighly touches the top of the oil squirters. I know that CP, Wiseco, and JE all touch so the oil squirters need to be removed. Look into it before you buy the pistons. I believe Joel Smith had this problem with his pistons in the Gsr block. The B16 with Wiseco pistons that I just built had this problem so I had to plug the oil galley at the oil squirters. I know this applies to at least the 3 I listed.

If you dont believe me:

end quote.

so wiseco's are a no no unless modification, my tuner uses arias and he didnt have a problem, what are CP pistons and JE's and SRP's like, anyone really go into detail and find out more of theses issues?

so whats the purpose of this thread? either bend them to make clearance or get the golden eagle kit or whovever kit to block them off.

I just did a build with CP's and used the GE plugs...you really dont need oil squirters with aftermarket pistons.
