you can take out the oil squirters and plug them up. Forged pistons don't need oil squirters

What makes the forged pistons not need oil squirters compared to the cast pistons is it just because of cast and forged

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JLHDOHC &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">What makes the forged pistons not need oil squirter's compared to the cast pistons is it just because of cast and forged </TD></TR></TABLE>

the forged pistons run cooler and do not require the pistons oil squirter's when compared to the stock cast pistons.

BUT i would still use them anyway......they provide better lubrication to the piston pins and every little bit of piston cooling helps since boost likes to heat things up pretty good in the chambers.

also...you should read the instructions that came with your wiseco pistons. the piston skirt design requires you to bend/modify the piston oil squirter's to clear. and i think they want about .030-.035 clearance between the piston skirt and the squirter.

good luck
