Default Removing the head unit

I have searched for a previous topic and query didn't result in any hits;therefore I am posting this thread ...... i am looking for a pdf or doc step by step directions on how to deinstall the factory audio unit... and if it is possible to wire the air conditioning into a a DVD navigation system....

to remove the head unit u have to remove ur ash tray and shift panel, after that u ahve to remove the small cuby under the radio once thats dont theres 3 screws under the radio to loosen the radio , then very gently pull the air vents that are on top of the radio to get 2 more screws. now with the a/c connection i cant help u there..i recently put in a Pioneer 4000 w/ ipod usb ,so instead of a 6-cd changer i have 4gb of music for now, more like 45 cd-changer, i might put in a dvd player myself with 5 or 7 inch screen soon, i brought a dash kit from crutchfield ,that includes a/c and heat controls its ok but not like the original but looks good.



hope this helps i have step by step instructions but no scanner to email it ...if u really need them i cam mail them to u , with no probelm...
