removing head unit??
well i refuse to pay $80 to have the honda dealer remove my cd player and get the seriel number for the code for me....so can anyone tell me how to remove the head unit in my 98 prelude by myself????
Pop off the dash piece with a flathead(tape the end so you dont scratch it)
Unscrew the 4 screws
unplug all wires from the back of your player.
pull it out and unscrew it from the brackets.

yeah it's very easy, thank god.
the plastic dash piece pops right off, just wedge a thin flathead between the plastic and that rubbery part and gently pop it out. i started at the top, then the sides, and then the bottom.
