Automatic transmission codes?????
Does anyone know what a code 49 is?
Thats when the d4 on the gauge cluster for an automatic transmission blinks a code 49?
Ive searched and cannot find any answers.
Oh yeah the car is a 1998 civic sedan with auto trans.

Ive searched many times on google/yahoo/Honda-tech and can never find any codes for auto transmissions.
My car used to be Automatic and i added too much fluid once, My D4 started blinking. I would take it to autozone/advance and have them scan it.
Id like to find the codes though.

I know right no one has automatic trannys on here.. Im surprised i do. All my friends cant believe it either.
I had a problem with my tranny a couple of months ago and there was someone who helped alot and knew all the codes but I cant find those posts anymore so i was hoping he'd respond.
I know i need to replace my vss which ill hopefully do tmrw but i dont think thats a code 49.
