i was wondering if anyone is had or is haviing these problems. i got a 93 teg lsvtec and for some wiered reason my car is throwing code 16 the injector code but the problem is that i change about six injectors already on it and the same injector that keeps messing up its cylynder four. my car wont rev pass 3500 rpm. like i said i changed injectors, the engine harrness, computers and more i cant figure this problem out and its becoming a headach if thers anyone that could possiably help it would be great. i have never seen this problem before
well if you found the problem, the next step is to find the cause of the problem. meaning what's causing the 4th injector to keep going bad, can you perform an actual diag. and not replace everything because that's just gonna hurt your pocket more than just getting a good diag.
im sure that there was a short some where but i dont no where to begin.the only way is to take the car to the dealership and do a full diag but i dont think the car would make it all the way over there. the car is pritty much driven on threee cyn if i unplug the o2 sensor it messis up the reading for the gas so it might make if i do that but at the same time i dont want to risk it not makeing it up there. ive bean working on these cars for five years now and ive never seen this prob before.
dont wanna sounds stupid but had distributors cause all kinds of issues... what is the history on the car... what engine ?ecu? chipped ecu? any wiring done at ecu?
Bad spark plug wires made my car bog really bad. I even thought my clutch had gone out, even went ahead and replaced it like an idiot. The wires weren't transferring enough juice, so the car would rev to a couple grand and bog. The second I got new ones, it went back to norman. Just trying to help you trouble shoot
check the injector resistor plug(driver side tower)
also get a wiring diagram and trace the wires back from the towers to the ecu and check for breaks, also grab a friends ecu and see if it goes away.
on these model cars there a leak problem that mainly on the passengerside, ad it leak on the ecu. check for corrosion

im useing a p61 but its crazy because before i swapped the head to the vtec head i put the p61 in my car when it was ls and it started to do these problems, i then put the ls ecu back in and still was throwing code 16, i then put the vtec head on the car and put all new injectors and the car was running fine. i drove the car for bout half an hour and then car strarted to do it all again then i took the code of the ecu and it would go away until i turned the car on. the only thing im thinking is it could be either to things now since i did everything else. i wondering if it could be the fuel rale or the bottem part of the engine harness cuz i switched the top part but at the same time iv never herd of a fuel rale goin bad. the car drove good before i swiched the ecu i never had none of these prob. when i took the injectors out all of them exept one where broken on the bottem somthing again that i never seen before
