problem with axel or brakes poping sound when braking
it started during weekend I would notice that when I pressed on the brakes mildly aggressive, I would heir this poping sound come of the front left side. But when I would brake under normal conditions pressin the brake softly it would not due this poping sound. another thing i test the brakes on the freeway, going from 80 down to 60. and I got a lot of vibration on pedals and the steering wheel. I have the check for wheel alingment, I checked my pads, I have not checked for warped rotors. I did notice a lot of grease spots all over brackets and fork where the shocks go. found it rather odd which leads me to believe its my axel going bad.
any input would help

Check out your radius rod bushings (the rod that runs from the lower control arm to the radiator support). They can cause popping in the front end like that. Have some one stand outside the car and watch as you start and stop to see if the wheel is moving front to back in the wheel well. If it is the bushings are worn out.
well I have not checked the radius rod, but I did notice I had to much brake fluid, so I took some out and put to the range it specifies, and that fixed the problem.
weird..
weird..
I would still check the bushings, mine come loose like every 3 months or so, I notice it during braking and speedbumps... its easy to check you don't even need to jack the car up just look under your car below you headlights and wiggle the two control arms that go to your brakes and see if they are loose... good luck
