Default I think my air conditioning compressor is leaking.... can that be fixed?

I have a 1990 honda crx with a b16. I decided to put my a/c back in so I put everything back in and the compressor didn't work so bought a new compressor, and installed it and ran the system for about a week and while driving home I heard a loud noise coming out of the engine bay (it sounded like air leaking out of a high pressure system) so I stopped didnt see anything then continued driving and then the a/c started to stop working and got hotter and hotter. I tried putting a new can of R134a in and it just came right out sounded like it was coming out of the compressor so I got a can of leak detector the one thats red dye and put that in and didnt see anything but heard it coming out of the compressor so then I put another can of 134a in and still didnt see the red but I heard it coming out... Is there any gaskets or seals on the compressor that could be leaking I mean it ran great for a week and was at the perfect pressure when I checked it but all of a sudden it stopped any ideas? Dont want to have to replace the compressor again they are expensive

If you got the compressor new why don't you get it warrantied? Is it a sanden? Reman?

I got it off of ebay, so it was new to me but I just bought it from someone, so there was no warranty plus i got it over a year ago but just had time to put it in.

I bought an A/C O ring kit and it had had seals that supposedly went in the compressor. I haven't got that far yet. Sounds like you blew one of those. I got my kit from advance auto for about $12.00 It has all the seals you could use.

so did you have the same problem where when you put the refrigerant in, you could hear it coming out of the compressor?

there is a pressure valve on the back of the sandens that goes bad frequently (at least from what I have read and been told by dealer mechs) When you remove the 3 rear bolts and remove the cover you can see it. It is spring loaded. Mine started leaking from that very spot.
