V-AFC Tuning tips and/or good sites?
I just purchased an Apexi V-AFC, installed it, and it works great. No problem with the functioning of this sweet device. However, I was wondering if there was a good site with tuning tips, base maps, etc.?
Or better yet, has anyone personally played with this enough to suggest a good base map setting that they have found worked pretty well?
Thanks!
94 LS-- AEM Short ram, 5-Zigen cat back, DC Sports 4-1 headers, TYR ecu program, timing at ~17/18
(I got the V-AFC rather than the S-AFC due to future plans of LS/VTEC mod)

You will need to know how to lean and richen the a/f ratio based on the wideband readings. Not hard at all and well worth the money spent!
Good tips guys . . . .go to the dyno!

I was hoping for some home brew information. One way that I have heard of is to monitor the voltage coming out of the O2 sensor. Thus, you could get basic "too rich, too lean" information. However, this would be basic shotgun level. Obviously not the precision you can get from a dyno. However, better than going "Hmm, that 'feels' right." I would assume that another way would be to get a Air Fuel mixture guage and do real time tweaks as you watch the guage?
I would love to find a good dyno shop! However, the performance shops around here that I buy my parts from do not have a dyno. Thanks for the information regarding the wideband O2!
Anyone know of a good import tuning shop in the Denver area that they can recommend?
