OK o replaced my stock motor dual point in 90 civic hatch 4 speed and i forgot to connect the ground cable to the battery and thermostat housing ......the ground wire from the valve cover to front began to fry....so i connected grounds...started up no prob...3 mins later dead..........changed main relay,dizzy,gettin spark and fuel...checked firing order, changed ecu injectors checked all fuses ...new plugs new wires.....dont know wat else to do ......it turns over fine but wont start !!!!!!!!PLZ ANYONE imma have to take it to a shop and they gonna charge me ALOT!!

 

Check your starter cable and altenator power cables and see if you didn't pinch them. Gettig any codes?

removed your battery ground cable and put a test light inline with the cable. IGNITION OFF. IF the test light stays lit you have a draw on the battery. We need to see what is drawing power to find out whats melting ground wires.

 

so i changed to another dizzy same problem but all of a sudden it started idled good for liek 10 min hit the gas died started again hit the gas dies do im guessing fuel pump not grounding problem
