New 32psi dyno ... 780whp
Finally got my wastegate & boost leak situation sorted out and got back on the dyno friday.
The car was much different than the last run and made similar power at 7-8psi lower than last time on pump...which tells you something.
At 15psi, the S372 made 488whp & 355ftlbs on 91 octane.
At 32psi, on C16 i managed to made 779whp & 459ftlbs. This was near the limit of my current fuel setup. Datalogs show duty cycle on the 1600cc/min RC's to be around 85-90%. They are fed by an in-tank 255lph pump + an inline Bosch 044.
No runs were made the dyno at 36-40psi due to fuel shortage possibilities.

holy ****, nice graph. I think its funny that you don't crack 200whp until 5k lol. That turbo kicks in but kicks in nicely and keeps on giving.

true that!
I love those numbers. The TQ isnt low at all for a F20B crank. Im just glad to see the powerband well above 9krpms... Ive been hard pressed to find another H/F making power that high to compare to. Just wish you had a little more stroke going on for me to compare. Flow owns. What a masterpiece, but it has been for years now.
What fuel pressure are you running? I wouldnt think the injectors should be maxxing out that bad yet. I would figure probably closer to 80% max than another 5-10% on the duty cycle as your saying. But, its not beyond reasonable at all and the only comparison point I have is Oaks in power vs fuel at those output levels with the H/F. The only reason I mention it is because Ive become really interested in fuel recently trying to decide whether bigger injectors would be a waste of money on my setup or not.

I think it could easily be a few more guys than 3 headed there quick. I know there is a few newcomers running around in 4th gens with builds potentially coming out. Im pretty sure MD23 could get my 3rd gen into the 9's with a good traction bar and a dozen runs.. Ill just keep trying for now though.

From what I have seen, the highway is the only place you can drive a car like this well, GregH makes 530 to the wheels, and his car is scary up through 4th, and still spins 4th on the highway, with fairly sticky street tires. Of course, US roads are a bit safer than Canadian roads, it seems they designed the roads up here only to be safe up to 80-90 mph, then it gets really choppy, at least in my lude, which tons of roads in Colorado were smooth and long enough for 140+ runs (if you were to do so)
In other thoughts, XES, if you are in Calgary area, I would love to see your car, the Weds night Beyond meet at Chinook would be killer!

That's what I am talking about those are 372 #'s!!!
IMO As far as the fuel system goes. PLEASE ditch that 255/044 pump setup. Get yourself a weldon 2025 use -8 or -10 line and call it a day. This more fuel pump then you will ever need ( 1500 whp) plus very streetable( slightly noisy
).

Agreed the 1600 cc shouldnt be close to maxed out. Bump up the fuel system with a good fuel pump. Those injectors wont have to work as hard ( put simply)
Ha possibly
I still havent botherd to post up the new times but the car is rolling along just fine

I just actually took the car out to the track a few days ago after the last dyno run at 32psi hoping to put a 140+mph run in and get kicked off until i had a roll cage, etc.
Unfortunately my datalog shows that I made 36-37psi instead of the 32psi that the car was dynoed on. The bad news is I unfortunately found the limit of my fuel setup at a suboptimal time. Duty cycled showed 100% in 2nd and 3rd gear from 8800rpm up...and A/F went really lean even though the end columns had plenty of fuel. All this led to some motor damage which is yet to be explored (but plug 3 doesnt look good
).
I made it through 3 gears before i let off and coasted across the the 1000' and 1320', ending up with 123mph run anyways with very limited traction in 1 and 2 + a severe bog in 1st. (1st gear to 75kph 0-3.5sec, 2nd to 120 only took 1sec then 2sec until i hit third due to missed shift, 3rd gear 117kph to 168-170kph 2sec with wheelspin at top for additional second then 1-2seconds of 4th before i realized it was broken.) There is alot of room for improvement and traction + alot of power available + boost per gear tuning.
Any big horsepower guys out there offer me some opinions on my fuel setup and what u think will work good for 900-925whp. Advice needed.
(current setup is intank 255lph flowing through stock lines to a in-line 044 pump located below the firewall...then a -10 line to a AEM fuel rail feeding 1600cc/min RC injectors with a stock return).
I am putting together a video right now and hope to have it up tomorrow night.
