How do you register a RHD vehicle in the state of new york? Do you need something special, and when you go trought inspection etc?

Just register it.

It's not like it's CA or anything.

Only time you'll run into problems is at a salvage inspection, where they'll check all the VIN's. Other than that, just register it like anything else. It's not like it's CA or anything where they can pop ur hood or check for VIN's at any time or any crazy **** like that.

You should have no problem registering it. In Ontario you must have a decal which states it is a right hand drive vehicle on the rear of vehicle visible to motorists. I beleive it is the same in NYS

Not that I know of. I've seen a few RHD cars before, and unless they were all violating that law, none of them had any markings on the rear that they are RHD.

lol yeah man it's true they all are violating the law atleast in Ontario. It's something that cops don't really look out for on the road, but if you are pulled over for speeding they will definatly observe and fine you for.
