Default 2 major questions if someone can help

those with the know how on all this **** could help i would appreciate it!

first question is:
i have a 95 si, is the only thing i can do a 5 lug conversion from an integra or civic type r? cuz i was wondering if a type s was possible.

second question is:
are all k20s the same? and what i mean by this is i know if u buy a b18c1/5/R once u fully build it it doesnt matter they all become the "same thing" per say.

is this the same with a k series? since im going to fully build it with new internals and fully ported and polished could i just buy a "watered" down version?

For the 5-lug conversion, you can only get it from an ITR or CTR. The Type-S DC5 suspension is totally different.

As far as k-series questions, I am not sure if the K20A2,A3,Z1,Z3 bare shortblocks are all the same. Heads are different.

If you plan on replacing everything with aftermarket parts then any head will do the same job same as porting and polishing...

thats what i was thinking...the engine itself cant be different..if the k20 type r flows better it has to be because its ported better stock...so if i do all internals and port it i should be as good as buying a k20 type r and doing the same....just tryna save money

Yea man theres no point in buying the JDM motor for $6k when you could have the USDM motor for $4k if your going to completely redo all internals and everything. It will turn out to be the exact same motor and make the exact same power so thatd just be a waste of $2k that you could have some fun with!
