I don't think you give yourself enough credit.

Gary G and Jason Hunt didn't make the show.

There were so many sick cars there. I loved the Pro Mod Super Bee.

it has to do with the overhang of the front from the front spindle forward...some of the cars have longer front ends...when at speed the front end is pushing down and actually trips the lights at the top end of the track...the teams with the shorter fronts ends felt jipped so they have been allowed to add that piece to the front of the car in order to have the same distance as the longer front end cars.

...info courtesy of Brett White -- he explained that to me this weekend when i had the same question.

Well that makes sense, thanks

So did the weekend get you more excited to go racing again?

Well that answers my question of the weekend. I knew that the cars with the shorter bodies were allowed the extension, however they stage the cars on the front wheels, so I was bit confused if the extension would trip the lights at the top end.

Thanks everyone! I learned some new techniques to try out at the next SC event, whenever that is!

I only shot one round on the line and one round from the stands so I'm pretty happy with the pictures I ended up with!
