Took the car out this past week at ATCO for the first time ever. New motor,new turbo. Actually EVERYTHING new. Alittle backround. Its an 89 si, d16y8,fully built and sleeved,BW S258 and 23'' lensos. Right now the car is running on a zex n/a cam so the power isnt where it should be for the boost but the car still impressed me. On the 4th pass ever on the car, she went 12.9 at 106 with a 1.9 60ft. Temperature outside was low to mid 90's. Humidity was in the 90% range and my intake temps where 130-140. The boost controller was set for 16psi but on the datalogger and the gauge i was only seeing 13psi from the heat. So all in all. HOT day,13psi and first time out 12.9@106

 

what kind of whp are you putting down? do race gas since your fully built.

 

at 16psi i made 262whp which is VERY low this turbo. All these runs were on pump gas cause its not at the point where i need race gas.
