How do you disconnect the e-brake thru the rear trailer arm

Default How do you disconnect the e-brake thru the rear trailer arm

How do you disconnect the e-brake thru the rear trailer arm?
I pushed the rubber cover piece back to find a 12mm nut it alrdy is loose and continues to spin.. can someone advise as how to seperate the line so i can replace the trailing arm?

Disconnect it from the caliper and remove that one bolt that connects it to the trailing arm. Then feed it through the hole in the trailing arm.

theres a big square a little after the ebrake, i dont think it dissconnects there?

i do see their is a 12 mm nut but it just spins on me so even if i disconnect it from the caliper does that nut go left loosey or does it just spin

there a pin that has a -. just use a flat head or a vice grip to pry it off.

right, but that doesnt let it go thru the trailing arm, their is a big square piece a little farther down the cable

spray wd-40 and use a vice grip and just turn it. the sqaure part the cable go through it.
