Default bad to run two diff pair of rims?

I always wanted to run 2 different pair of rims.

205/50/15 on both sides

is this safe to run?

rota grids 15 on one side and slips on the other...would the weight difference be a factor?

As long as they are true, round, and correctly bolted and seated to the car, then they're safe. Both sides being 15's, there shouldn't be too much of an issue, I wouldn't think. What's the weight difference on them?

never heard of anyone doing that but im sure it wont hurt or affect anything as long as the specs are the same and weight is not too far off from the other side.

I hope this is just for a little joke, like you're running by your friends in one direction, then the other in hopes that your friends think it's a different car.

I can't see why you would want to run two of each wheel on different sides of the car for any lengthy amount of time. Why don't you just run them front and back, unless that's what you're referring to?

yes i want to run one set on one side and the other set up the other side.

everything is going to be the same offset, tire size, rim size.

the only difference is the weight i think about a 2 lb difference.

i dont see why you think this is a joke...not exactly "stupid" not like im running 17s on one side and 15s on the other...

That would actually be cool. But seriously what happens when you go to rotate your tires? then theyre going to get mixed up.

I believe they're asking if it's a joke, because most people like all 4 wheels to match. It's not too common for someone to buy 2 of one wheel, and 2 of another to have each side of their car look different from the opposing side. Your car, your wheels. Like I said up there, I don't think it will do any harm to the car, it just is goofy.
