My 1990 Honda Accord will have a very strong odor of gas after driving at least 30 miles. It is especially strong during the very hot days. It was checked for a gas leak and none was found. Anyone else experience this?

 

catalytic conveter...leaking injectors....the list goes on.

 

It could be a bad o2 sensor. I know that when my brother had his Maxima after a little bit of driving with or without the air on very strong gasoline smell would come into the passenger cabin. It turned out to be one of the o2 sensors was bad.

 

or he coulda pulled a nick and spilt a can of gas in his trunk. hahahahaha
