Default strain gauge on a stock shifter

If one were to have a dog box with a factory shifter and linkage, would you be able to incorporate a strain gauge on that, curious.

thats a hell of an expensive stock shifter. id much rather see you use a gforce shifter with the strain, much less chance of a mis-shift with it.

Joe, is there a reason why? I've gotten about 10 passes in with my dog box and I've been using the stock shifter so far. She grabs into the correct gear everytime.

I'm guessing it's due to the 1-2-1 or 2-3-2 mis shifts???

i went a whole season on a stock shifter............however.....even though at that point i thought it was impossible...i did a 1-2-1 shift.

tony's shifter is A LOT cheaper than a new motor and possibly a new transmission. im not going to throw out anybody's names......but i dont think i have enough fingers to count how many people have done a 1-2-1 with a dog box.

not only that all you have to do is shift tony's shifter one time and you will understand what i mean. its a whole new ball game. and call me crazy....but if im gong to spend the money on a stain gauge..i'd atleast like to do it on a shifter thats nice. not a junk yard 94 gsr shifter thats all clapped out

Dog boxes and stock shifter are ok when your lifting to shifting. When you start shifting WOT, now thats when its a problem.

I'm interested to know this also as a GForce shifter is not an option on a K Series
