Wouldn't that tire provide better traction if it was on a 15x8 wheel?

But sometimes you have to work with what you got

 

First time yesterday on slicks, they work amazing. BTW there M/T 24.5x8 , similar none the less.

how are your guys 60 ft times and what air pressure you running. i have the same size tire on the same wheels ill post pics tomorrow

 

You guys are gonna laugh, i was running 14psi no burn out, LOL. I was just playing with the car, since it was the first time out on this set-up, on low boost. Best 60' was a 1.8, before the rain came. The tire should easily make a 1.6 on proper tire pressure (8psi should be enough) and burn out. Next time out, ill try for a good 60', and let you guys know.

 

What's the point of a 5-lug conversion on a GSR that's a drag car? Do you like additional weight?

Pimp status. But, I don't think it's strictly a drag car.

 

yeah I only had these at the time. and welds are so expensive, so I just used what I got..
