so as you can see it can blink for while you just have to count

300+ lol. If its just doing a long blink over and over then its a 10, and thats your iat (intake air temp. sensor), its on the intake manifold give that a check.

d15b8 motor and a d15z1 head

holy compression ratio batman. comes out to aprox 12.5:1.
hopefully you're seriously highly tuned with that setup.

CEL 10, make sure you're IAT is plugged in, and the IAT and EVAP purge are not switched. (common for head/engine swaps)

yeah its supose to be a high comp motor but its not tuned i got the stock ecu the vtec isint hooked up and i need a adjustable cam gear.
right now its actually one big pos because i cant get the thing to stop smoking , now its throwing a cel code and i get about 200 miles on a tank of gas which isint right and its slow as freak in my opinion and bogs down when going up hill.. but i payed 500$ for a 93 cx hatch with a clean title and a straight body i cant complain to mch

CEL 10 will be a single one second flash, then a 1.5-2 second space then another single one second flash. (repeats until the battery runs out)
the 1.5-2 second pause is how it tells you that it's starting another code, or in this case restating the first code.

If it will help I can take a quick video of what CEL 10 looks like.

BTW, it bogs and runs like crap because you have a low flow high fuel eficient head coupled with a minimal dish piston, which yeilds high compression. PLUS you're running on the CX ECU, which is designed for a very different head design, and a lot less compression. At this point I'd be glad you have CEL 10, it'll richen things up so you don't kill your engine.
Also that head will never flow right to produce decent power. Especially pre-VTEC.
You'd be much much better off with a Z6 head.

if u could get a video of it i would apreciate it because all my flashes are about 1.5 seconds long i can say 1 1000 and 1 very slowly and it still takes longer . i was gonna take a video of it but my dog ate the camera lol..no really i swear she did she even tried to eat a spark plug once

and yes i plan on just getting an entire d16z6 very soon as i want to build it for boost.

i think all the problems i have are head and block combo related. im gonna try to sell or trade my engine for a d16z6
