Wassup, my bro got a 96 accord and the horn works sometimes. Sometimes he has to keep pressing the button or even turn the wheel a lil to make the horn go off. Anyone experience this??? Lemme know. Peace.

i have the same problem and i dont know what it is. but the funny thing is when my key is out it works fine!

 

To the OP, double check the connections at the horn. Then the clock spring would be next....does it have cruise work, if so doe the controls on the wheel "act up".

 

my horn is not working either...also the srs light is on...so just looking at the steering wheel, it is jammed in and the cruise control buttons are broken off...im guessing the previous owner got angry and punched it several times until it was jammed....so my question is...can i take it apart and un-jam it???are the airbags going to go off sice the srs light is on???

 

Looks like you may have answered your own question. If the buttons are broken and the SRS is on, more than likely the wheel has been damaged. Probably easier to locate an undamaged wheel.

You can remove the airbag, but take caution and follow the instructions on how to disable/remove/store the airbag when its not in the car.
