having lil problems with 96 honda accord.. my srs light is on, and i have no cruise control orr horn. i checked fuses , didnt see any that our broken etc... any other ideas ?

possible a bad cable reel??

 

maybe even likely... that's where i would start.

 

where cable reil located?

 

If you cruise control is located on the wheel, it seems like something is wrong with the wire harnesses that go to the wheel.

 

it's just behind the steering wheel... i'm 90% confident it's inside the steering wheel trim. i don't rememeber taking apart the column last time i pulled one out.

i know 98 and newer has it behind the airbag, mounted to the steering wheel.

either way, you'll be dealing with SRS/airbags in order to replace it. if you don't feel comfortable or confident doing that, pay someone else to.

 

i think the srs light is a recall and can be done for free at the dealer, don't quote me but you should give them a call
