Judging by the responses I've seen so far...I think you need a hug.

1) This belongs in Appearance and cosmetic forum.
2) It looks you were in a rush to get a set of wheels and tires and bought what you thought was the best choice out of what was in stock and fit.
3) I don't like them, they must weigh a ton.
4) Too much wheel gap. Are those 35 or 40 series?

my sportlines are here on tuesday. i know the car rides high right this moment and looks a little off but i have an overall vision of what i want MY car to look like. some of you may not like them but i am a 20 year old college student working his *** off and still trying to make his fg2 as best it could be with the means that i have. the sportlines are only being used for a couple of months while i save up for a nice suspension setup and then eventually " when i have money" i will buy way better wheels. at the time i bought them i thought it was a good idea and i do not regret my choice one bit because like i said before i have an over look that i want her to look. so i apologize to those who feel they are not up to standard but they will make me happy for a little while as i work hard to have bigger an better mods/toys. maybe i will post another picture when the eibachs get here. ill try and change your set in stone opinion...

I am a college student also who is also strapped for cash right now, not to mention I am applying for graduate school right now. If you are in the same position, then why are you spending cash on "for right now parts?" If they really do not make you happy, just put them off until you save up enough to get the equipment that you truly want. I have just enough to purchase the suspension setup I want, but I'd rather put that towards school and application fees right now. So take your time and save up, rather than spending for interim parts to partially satisfy you. Whatever amount you just dropped on those wheels and sportlines could have already added to the funding required to purchase your desired suspension. You really cannot go wrong with OEM. I'm not saying you shouldn't mod your car to YOUR specs, but going with stock for a little while isn't that bad is it?
Just like you mentioned how it's not going to look pretty, its not going to be a quick process either, modding one's car to one's taste takes time. Take you time and do it right.
[sorry for the long post]

True true
OP:
The majority of the people in here (except for a few) are probably not rolling around in money. That's why we have Civics. You will never get all of that money back that you spent on those wheels/tires. If you had just saved the money that you spent on the wheels, tires and eibachs, you'd be a lot closer to having your dream suspension, and riding in a car that handles and looks pretty good for stock. It's your money and your car, and when the car is lowered, the wheels really won't look too bad. But, when you have an "overall look" in mind, and don't have tons of extra money to throw around, you have to envision the "big picture" of every mod you do. Shortcuts waste money and grow old quickly. Good luck.
