Default B20/vtec questions

I have a '98 ex coupe. I want to go B20 and just installed a full B16A2 swap because I plan on using most of the parts from that swap. My next step is to get a B20 block but I'm torn between the two. I prefer the B20Z because of the higher compression, but is it safe to rev it high with the valve tap problems the b20/vtec can have?...I am going to use stock cams. Also, are the water and oil pumps from the B16A2 a good choice along with the b16a2 intake and exhaust manifold. I plan on going turbo, but not for a while and in the mean time, I want a car that will run 13's.

Thanks for the help.

You might want to try posting this in the tech or hybrid forum!

The B20 already uses a Vtec oil pump, and don't forget to use a GSR timing belt if you go with the Vtec water pump
