what size exhaust for turbo?
i've heard that 3" exhaust is the way to go but i've also been told that 2.5" is enough for a b16a. can anyone clear this up for me because i don't want to do "double work" later when i feel that i have to go w/ something bigger. also, i have a 94' sol. how should the turbo positioned? should the downpipe routed through the passenger side or to the driver side between the turbo and ac? anyone have similar setup w/ pix that can help out? thanx.
3in. for turbo the faster you get those exhaust gases out the fast youll go. if any go open downpipe its better the 3 in and sounds sweet but becareful of the pigs!
Does small exhause make your car lug with turbo, before I just had down pipe, and it picked up quick, no the stupid exhause guy hook up my down pipe to my stock system and the stock exhause piping and the muffler.with a 2.5 inch pipe, and it hella lugs now, could that be the reason???

on your torque...especially off the line where hondas suffer already. i wouldn't go any larger than 3''. even 3.5'' would be pushing it.
by better he means high end. 5 inch exhaust will get you great high end but you'll get a big fat
